Rather than trying to cover everything, the Atlas presents a carefully selected view of Greek culture shaped by long-term photographic and documentary work across the country.

About George Tatakis
George Tatakis is a Greek photographer whose long-term work focuses on tradition, ritual, regional identity and cultural continuity in Greece.
His projects include Ethos and Caryatis, which form an important part of the photographic and cultural archive behind My Greece Atlas.
His work is held in the permanent collection and archive of the Benaki Museum, has been published by National Geographic and The New York Times, and has received 24 international awards.
